Riaz Raihan is responsible for value engineering, value architecture, references, and sales intelligence worldwide.
Riaz’s leadership in helping Infor customers identify, quantify and realize business value has enabled Infor to build world-class value engineering capability. His team of over 100 top-notch professionals has a presence in every part of the globe; and works with Infor’s most strategic customers to help them drive their business strategies forward.
Prior to Infor, Riaz had a stellar nine-year career at SAP. He played a pioneering role from 2004 to 2013 in establishing and growing SAP’s value engineering practice; and was COO at SAP Canada with responsibility for value engineering, solution engineering, industries, centers of excellence and private equity.
Prior to SAP, Riaz developed a broad area of expertise by working in a number of industry verticals. He was able to parlay his diverse knowledge by holding senior consulting and management positions with blue-chip firms: Accenture, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. He has engineering and MBA degrees; and is a graduate of the Stanford University Management Development Program. Riaz is a member of MENSA.

Dan Spirek is the Managing Director of HCIT Ventures, where he leverages 25+ years of healthcare information technology experience to assist early-stage startup companies in growth strategies for success. Dan leads a strong network of partner-advisors focused on investment in a select portfolio of high potential companies.
Prior to HCIT, Dan was the EVP, Chief Strategy and Marketing Office for TriZetto. From humble beginnings in HCIT consulting, TriZetto grew to nearly $1B in revenues over the course of 18 years, becoming one of the most successful healthcare IT companies in the industry. Dan co-founded the company with Jeff Margolis in 1997. He led the early-stage growth of the consulting organization before assuming responsibility for the invention and growth of the company’s hosting and application management business. More recently, his responsibilities have included corporate strategy, solution innovation, marketing and communications.
Prior to TriZetto, Dan held several healthcare IT leadership roles and was a senior consultant with Anderson Consulting (Accenture) He received a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business (academic scholarship).
President of Herb Rubenstein Consulting
Herb Rubenstein is the president of Herb Rubenstein Consulting. Previously he was a candidate for Congress in Colorado and worked for 28 years in Washington, DC as a business consultant, lawyer, government policy specialist and author. He is the co-author of the Financial Times business book, Breakthrough, Inc.: High Growth Strategies for Entrepreneurial Organizations, the author of the American Bar Association’s Leadership for Lawyers, and has taught entrepreneurship at Colorado State University, strategic planning in the MBA program at George Washington University, and taught leadership courses at several universities. He is the author of over 100 articles on entrepreneurship, strategic planning, leadership, and communication.
Herb is a Phi Beta Kappa/Omicron Delta Kappa graduate in Politics and Economics from Washington and Lee University where he was Chair of the Student Curriculum Committee and Captain of the Golf Team. He was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar at the University of Bristol in Bristol, England and the Lyndon B. Johnson Scholar at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. His law degree is from Georgetown University. His expertise is business and strategic planning for businesses and large nonprofits focusing on every major aspect of the company and its operations, metrics, and its ability to absorb and manage change.

Tim Matanovich founded Value and Pricing Partners in 2010, and has led consulting and development engagements with Salesforce.com, Informatica, Nikon, ADP, Flowserve and others. Previously Tim was VP of Strategic Pricing and Value for TriZetto, a $500M Software and Services Company, where the management team reduced discounting by half, increased revenues by 50%, and doubled EBITDA during his tenure. Prior to VPP, Tim worked as a Senior Consultant with StratX led market strategy and pricing engagements with GE, First Data Corp, PPG, DuPont and others on 5 continents.
Tim has published approximately 50 articles, and his book Profitable Technology Services Pricing, has been endorsed by 20 leading executives and academics. Tim has been an adjunct faculty member at the Institute for Study of Business Markets at Penn State and the Center for Services Leadership at Arizona State.
Chief Customer Officer
Andreas Gast is Chief Customer Officer and Senior Consultant with Value and Pricing Partners. Andreas has deep technology industry experience working with 3Com, Symantec, Sage, Hitachi Data Systems, CDK Global and Kodak Alaris. His work has included marketing and pricing, alliance/business/channel development, channel program design marketing, sales and competitor analysis, benchmarking, and transformational leadership. He has expertise in: Enterprise & SMB – software, services, and technology hardware solutions ranging from cloud to mainframe and networking to security, CRM & ERP to VoIP solutions.
Andreas has received several awards for his work, including awards include Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) STAR Awards for Excellence in Partner Management, and Excellence in Customer Commitment, and a Gartner Award for Best Alliance Strategy. He created and chaired a TSIA Channel Services Best Practices – Community of Interest for 20+ of the top technology vendors.
